Personable – We only bring on broker partners who are enjoyable to work with.  You won’t find big ego’s and smarty pants know-it-alls here.  We are experts in our business.  But, you will never hear us bragging about how many clients we have or how many loans we close.  We prove our abilities to each client through our actions, not our words. We will always make you feel comfortable to ask any questions you might have about the loan process.  We know that we do this every day, but you don’t.  And for that reason no question is a bad question.  We prefer you ask as many questions as needed to ensure you are comfortable with the process.

Honesty/Integrity – It’s important to us that we be upfront and forthcoming with our fees and rates!  We will show you exactly how we pick rates, why that’s the rate that’s available, and what your other rate options are.  That way YOU have the knowledge to make educated decisions around this.  We are really good at what we do, and most of the time we have the best options for our clients.  But, in those rare instances where we do not we are quick to recommend you check with another lender.  We know that we aren’t always going to be the right choice for someone, and rather than have them find that out years down the road and harbor resentment towards us, we rather pass them along and gain their trust for their next purchase or refinance needs.

Responsive/Communication – This is one of the most important core values in our company.  We will never “ghost” our clients if things go sideways or something is off with the loan.  That’s not how we do business.  We know that addressing the hard topics as quickly as possible allows us to work together to work through these unforeseeable challenges.  We will keep you up to date on how your loan is processing, and if you ever have a question you will never feel like you are “bothering” us by asking.  We are here for YOU!  Not the other way around. We have an expectation that our Brokers respond to any correspondence in a timely manner.  You will NOT find yourself reaching out to any of our brokers for days with no response.

Worthwhile Mortgages partners with only the best wholesale lenders in the market.  We want to make sure that our clients experience buying or refinancing a home is as smooth and easy as possible.  For this reason, we choose our partners based on very simple but very important criteria.

1)     They must provide industry low rates

2)     They must offer exceptional technology to provide an easy mortgage experience our clients

3)     They must consistently close loans quickly, making sure we make our target closing dates

4)     They must provide exemplary customer service after the mortgage was established.

We will always be 100% honest with our clients.  We will not promise that we have the lowest rates, because we might not.  We will not promise that we will always hit our closing date, because there are many variables outside our control that might inhibit that.  What we WILL promise that we will always be upfront and honest with you throughout the process.  We WILL communicate with you every step of the way and be available to answer questions anytime you need us.  We WILL have your best interest at heart, and if we think you’d be better off going somewhere else, we will tell you that.

Joe Wile - NMLS #935848

Managing Broker & Owner - Joe has spent his entire life in the realm of customer service, which is why he values that so much for his clients. He started his first career as a Martial Arts instructor and school owner. It was here that he learned that he had a passion for teaching people and bringing them together as a family. He built a successful school and learned many lessons about humility and hard work. In 2010, Joe chose to sell his business and move into a different industry to bring his schedule more in line with his daughter's schedules. To keep a long story short he ended up as a manager at one of the largest banks in the country, where he began to cut his teeth in the finance world. After 5 years at the bank, he was fed up with the politics and constant push to produce more money for the bank. So he moved to the mortgage side of the business, and found himself at a large online lender. Again, it was all about making more money for the company, which did not align with his core values. He moved to one more large online lender before learning about the broker side of the mortgage industry. It was here that he learned you could provide clients with the same types of loans these big lenders offer, but typically at lower rate. As the brokerage owner, he controls the overhead, the process, and which lending partners they work with. So he set out to create something new, and Worthwhile Mortgages was born.
